Commission Request

Nooshin Studio - Reaching for the Light
Not sure where to begin? A complimentary art consultation is available by email or virtual appointment to help clarify the direction of your project.

Commission requests begin through one of three paths: surface, artistic style, or wearable form. These categories and their options can apply to both painted and sculptural commissions; the request form will let you share the direction, mood, references, and any helpful notes for your original piece. Choose the closest starting point, even if it is not an exact match.

Some combinations of surface, style, and medium may need adjustment; if so, the studio will follow up before confirming the project.

Select Your Surface

Please note that some combinations of style and medium may not be suited to every surface. If your selection calls for it, Nooshin will personally reach out to explore the options that will work beautifully for your piece.

Bespoke Surface

For ideas created around a specific, personal, or unusual surface that does not fall into the listed options.

Canvas/Paper

A classic surface for pieces that may begin with an image and expand into texture, form, or atmosphere.

Book/Bookmark

For pieces carried by pages, covers, or bookmarks, where illustration, ornament, texture, or narrative detail becomes part of something held, kept, and returned to.

Chest

For pieces made as chests, where the outside carries as much meaning as what may be kept within.

Metal

Certain pieces call for the weight, light, and permanence of metal, whether shaped as the surface itself or added as a precious detail within the work. Gold, silver, and other chosen metals can be considered as either the main surface or part of the piece.

Mural

Created for a specific space, and shaped by its architecture, scale, and atmosphere, whether the direction is classical, contemporary.

Scroll/Roll

A format for works with a narrative quality, designed to be followed across their length and revealed gradually with the movement of the eye.

Shell

A shell surface carries natural variation, from soft pearlescent interiors to vivid colours, ridges, and pearl-like formations fused into the shell.

Stone

Paint, carving, or dimensional detail can be worked into a dense, irregular material, giving the finished piece grounded physical presence and a quiet sense of permanence.

Wood

Grain, cut, and texture create a natural structure beneath the artwork. The piece can follow, contrast, or interrupt these lines, making the material part of the composition rather than a passive base.

Sculptural Surface

Through carving, built-up texture, or relief work, the artwork moves beyond a flat surface, allowing the surface itself to carry depth, texture, and physical presence.

Glass

A glass surface provides a unique and vibrant artistic piece, guaranteed to capture attention.

Select Your Style & Technique

Please note that some combinations of surface and medium may not be suited to every style. If your selection calls for it, Nooshin will personally reach out to explore the options that will work beautifully for your piece.

Contemporary Art

Contemporary work does not begin with a fixed look. It begins with a question, a subject, or a visual tension, then builds the piece through the materials, scale, colour, and composition that best hold that idea.

Geometric Art

Geometry is used not simply to simplify a subject, but to reveal its underlying order. Structure, proportion, and repetition become the language through which the artwork is built.

Hyperrealism

Realism taken to its limit. These commissioned works are painted with meticulous detail, capturing light, texture, and form so precisely they feel almost tangible.

Heritage Art

Heritage art draws from centuries of artistic tradition while remaining open to reinterpretation. References such as Persian miniature, East Asian painting, medieval art, or Indigenous art traditions can be explored individually or woven together, allowing each work to develop a visual language rooted in history without becoming a reproduction.

Pop Art

Every subtle shift in light carries the weight of form, allowing the subject to exist with the same quiet complexity found in life.

Realism

Every subtle shift in light carries the weight of form, allowing the subject to exist with the same quiet complexity found in life.

Surrealism

Forms surrender their certainty until one image begins to inhabit another, carrying the quiet persistence of a thought that refuses a single form, revealing what had always been there.

23.75K Gold

A work touched by gold carries a stillness of its own, held in the tension between ritual, permanence, and quiet grandeur.

Digital Art

For work that relies on precision, clarity, and controlled visual development, from visual identity and logo work to character design and sequential art.

Medical Illusration

For academic and professional purposes that depends on anatomical accuracy, visual clarity, and a careful translation of complex information into images that can teach, explain, or guide.

Metal Sheet Embossing

Pressure transforms a single sheet into a surface where light settles, depth emerges, and every mark becomes inseparable from the metal itself.

Silverpoint

Drawn with real silver, this Renaissance technique carries the discipline of Leonardo’s hand: each line is final, delicate, and gradually deepens as the silver ages.

Gemwork

Gemstones, pearls, crystals, and beadwork can act as visual punctuation within a piece. In selected moments, they shift light, rhythm, and focus, creating areas where reflection, texture, and form are carried by the material itself.

Inscription Technique

Illustrations composed from meaningful inscriptions, with words, symbols, notation, and other visual languages woven into a single visual composition; an image that can be read as much as it can be seen.

Mosaic Art

Rather than being painted in continuous strokes, the image is assembled through individual pieces. Colour, movement, and form are built fragment by fragment into a unified composition.

Silver Clay

Pure silver shaped by hand in its clay state, then fired into solid metal, opening the material to forms impossible through conventional silversmithing.

Select Your Wearable Art

Please note that surface, style, and medium may not be suitable or relevant to your wearable art choice. Feel free to enter N/A if you don’t have a preference.

Couture

Shaped by silhouette, detail, and the quiet precision of handwork

Conceptual

Pieces shaped through form, material, and presence, ranging from delicate adornment to statement pieces for performance, photography, or display.
